The MOMS Club of Spartanburg-North, SC is a support group for at-home mothers that live in the North Spartanburg area. The Spartanburg-North chapter covers the zip codes 29316, 29349, 29322, 29323, 29330, and 29356.

At the North Spartanburg chapter we offer several things for our members. Some of the things we do are:

Monthly calendar of events - Each month has different events planned, but some examples are park meet ups, monthly business meeting, pot-luck, field trips, Mom's night out/in, hikes, and really anything our members want to do.

Playgroups - We have small playgroups that meet every other week at a member's house or at a local park. The small playgroups are a good way to get close with a group of friends. We change playgroups every 12 weeks.

Sunshine Committee - Our Sunshine committee helps spread some cheer to our group. Some examples are arranging meal schedule for times of need, diaper drive when there is a new baby, and helping new members get to know current members.

Babysitting Co-op - Our babysitting co-op is organized online, and no money is involved.

Community involvement - We will have the opportunity do several service projects a year to benefit local families or agencies in need. Our projects could range from food drives to school supply drives to deliver crafts to a local retirement community. Our goal is to vary our projects to allow our members to have many opportunities of interest. It’s a great way for our members to “work,” while teaching our children the valuable lesson of helping others.

This is what some members have to say about MOMS Club:

I joined MOMS club because we were new to the area. I wanted to be able to take my daughter out to do things locally, socialize with children her age, and maybe even make some friends of my own. Joining this group has done wonders for my family. We have a very active calendar, my older boys have made friends as well as my daughter, and I have made friends for life. MOMS Club has saved this mom's sanity!
After having my daughter and becoming a stay at home mom, I was so lonely. I discovered MOMS club through facebook, and I am so glad I did! We have something to do every day if we want. No more sitting around wishing I had someone to talk to. Not only did I make friends, but now my 2 year old asks me if we are going to see her friends every morning.
